Game time | peewee football

Well I am not off to a very good start to my 365 blog, I forgot to post yesterday. I was just a tad tired after my oldest football game. He started playing football last year and every game I would be watching through the viewfinder of my camera. So when he started playing his year I told my self I would sit back and watch the games and enjoy them. Well that didn't long. His first real game I took my camera out to get a few shots of him and then I put it away. It can be very hard taking pictures when  you have a 5 year old and a 2 year old sitting next to you grasping for your attention. Well he made a great play, he caught the ball that was thrown to him and got a few yards before being tackled. After the game he was so excited and then he asked "Mom did you get my great catch on your camera?" A stab to the heart I must say as I told him no, I didn't have my camera out. With very sad eyes he says "Oh".

Well I guess I will not be winning mom of year award. Well I promised him I would have my camera out at every game. It is not very easy trying to watch a game through the view finder but I want him to be able to look back and have memories of playing football. The days of innocence and playing just because will soon be over, so I will soak up what I can.

Frustration

Here goes my attempt at my 365 blog.. Today I took my youngest son outside to play but was met with some great resistance in the form of a 45 poundish 7 month golden retriever who answers by the name of Bella.  We bought her after my middle son got bit by our male Siberian husky, knowing that retrievers are supposed to be these excellent family dogs. This dog has been a bigger pain than I have ever imagined. She is out of control, totally hyper, a barker, and just plain ole annoying.

Normally I can fault my husband for getting dogs but this time I have no one to blame but myself. Oh it will be great for our female husky to have someone to play with I said. Oh and we can make her an inside dog I said.. Yeah the inside dog part backfired. Oh and heaven forbid that the kids let her inside the house by mistake.. As soon as  you go to grab her by her collar or pick her up she has peed. Talk about frustration.

So back to taking my youngest outside today. I took him out to play with some of his favorite toys which happen to be WWE wrestlers. That I can blame on my husband :). Well while Dallas was trying to play Bella just kept knocking him over and trying to take his toys. Dallas can not talk well yet so he expresses himself by yelling and whining. He kept looking at me with sad eyes in baby talk complaining about the dog by pointing at her and making some sound. We finally had to give in and just come back inside which really caused a big yelling fit because he was mad because he didn't get enough play time outside. All he did was wander from place to place trying to get away from the dog.

I can totally understand his frustration because as I sit here and type about his frustration I hear in the living room what I believe to be the sound of something being squeezed out. You all know the sound when whatever is in the bottle is being squeezed out and you hear the air a long with it.

Even though this my frustration right now, I couldn't help but laugh while I grabbed my camera to take this. I think my bigger frustration right now is the smell of butt medicine in my carpet and how to get the big white smeared in spot out. I think about it this way, it could always be worse.
